Science Week at Davitt College

On 29th of January the Senior Class went to the Science and Technology Fair to celebrate Science Week in Davitt College. Our first stop was with Ms. O’ Donnell and two T.Y. girls called Ruth and Céile who showed us their sumo robots, which they made.

Next we visited Mr. Tonnery and Ms. Nester in the computer room who showed us how to code with scratch. We coded colourful flowers.After that we went to the library where there were different tables set up. We saw a sheep’s heart, a 3D printer, the difference between acids and bases, maths cubes, finger prints, static electricity and microscopes.We had a good day out at in Davitt College.
