Cross Country Running
On Thursday 20th September 2018, 3rd to 6th Class went to Ballyvary Football Pitch to go cross country running. The pitch was wet and mucky on one side and nice and dry on the other. It was a nice day for some running.
Third and fourth class girls ran first. The girls for Crimlin did so well but sadly none of them qualified. Then the third and fourth boys ran. They did well too.
Next fifth and sixth girls ran and Eimear O'Donnell in sixth class came 11th. She got a medal and went through to the next round, the County final. The other girls also did really well. Finally the 5th and 6th class boys ran. We were very proud of all of our cross-country runners.
THE NEXT ROUND
The next round was at Beleek Track. The track was really mucky and hilly there was a huge hill at the end it was very hard.
It was raining and cold when I had to run, it was horrible. I didn’t get a medal this time but I had great fun and was cheered on by Aoibheann and Katie.
