Achill Island Lifeboat
Alan made a model of Achill Island's lifeboat, the Royal National Lifeboat InstitutionTrent Class Lifeboat.
The coxswain is in charge of the lifeboat and steers it. He or she is also in charge of the rescue operation.
The coxswain has received a call about people who are in trouble out at sea and is rushing out to help them.
The coxswain and the lifeboat volunteers have rescued people who were in the water.
They are on board the lifeboat now, and the crew will help them, using the life-saving equipment that they have on board.
The coxswain will make sure there are no others in the water, then steer the lifeboat home.
